Sorry about the small batch of chives. All my chives are starting to go bad so I’m working with what I got. I’ll get some new fresh ones for tmr.

Anyone asking about my knife. The brand is Seki Kanetsugu and the knife line under that brand is Shiun, I can’t find any independent website for the brand but most reputable knife website seems to carry this brand, just look up Seki Kanetsugu Shiun and it’ll bring up a few.

  11. I came here to follow this saga. I don’t know much about knife cuts, and I’m only a home cook, but I can say I see improvement in the consistency between Day 1 and Day 20 for sure. Keep going, it’s clearly paying dividends.

    For 20 days I’ve been coming here for the comments. I don’t even work in a fucking kitchen. Reddit thinks I do because of these chives. I get a ton of r/KitchenConfidential recommendations now bc how deep in the comments I go every day. I look forward to this every day. You people are out here doing Gods work. The daily anticipation of F1exican, the Chivelord, passing this impossible task is damn near unbearable. I’ll look at the pic as a mere pedestrian and think “Oh shit today’s got to be the day!” Then scroll down to the comments to find someone with a more discerning eye has entrapped him for yet another day. I then feel overwhelming relief that this dance continues. Does he know that we’ll never let him go?

    Edit: actually I saw in one of your comments that you’ve confirmed that it’s less than a cup. Sorry boss, I have to shut you down. You said you would cut a cup a day but you’ve gone and lied. This calls the entire operation into question. I can reconsider once you chop the rest of the cup
